- Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I left there after 24 years. Now I am a 15 year transplant in the Pacific Northwest, and I love it. The day I arrived I knew that these were my people. There is such an eclectic mix of humans in my town. Anacortes Washington is a little patch of heaven in the far corner of America.
